There is a very limited quantity still available of Thinking Out Loud. The CD Includes a 16 page booklet with a history of the band, lyrics and pictures.

Charles Jones, our long-time friend and proprietor of Synergen sound and graphics, recorded this original album on 16 track Fostex analogue tape. Then in 1996 we treated the original tape (meaning we baked it) and transferred it all to digital. We then re-mixed it at Osceola Studio in Raleigh and had it mastered at The Kitchen with Brent Lambert in Chapel Hill.

Here's one review: "Freehand bears the heavy stamp of King Crimson on much of their work although guitar driven fusion outfits like Brand X, The Dregs, and Mahavishnu Orchestra are clearly major influences as well. These guys really know how to smoke!"

- Ken Golden, The Laser's Edge

The pictures here are from various phases of the band. Robert went on to graduate school at University of Illinois in Russian Literature and works as an editor. Dave went on to pursue the field of Communications and is an associate professor at the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. Dave plays in a band there, The Schoolboys. Robert is playing guitar, recording, and writing music with two others (Illinois and NewYork) under the name "Foreign Accent." We look forward to hearing this project and providing additional information when available.
